CECED National Conference 2018

Centre for Early Childhood Education and Development (CECED), Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD), Delhi along with Association for Early Childhood Education and Development (AECED), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai jointly organized a national conference on the theme
“Every Child’s Right to Early Childhood Development: Evolving Inclusive Practices” with following objectives:
  • To develop an understanding of the role of early childhood programmes in addressing equity.
  • To document best practices for addressing diversity as well as inclusion and develop guidelines for the same.
  • ing together researchers, practitioners/civil society organizations, academicians, Government bodies/functionaries/policy makers and funders to build strategies to address inclusive practices.
This year the conference was focused to address the child as a whole and to bring all fields together to have new thinking, new skills and strengths so that the synergy will strengthen programs and practices and create opportunities for children to grow and develop to their fullest in whichever context they are.
The conference was sponsored by DHFL foundation, Save the Children, TISS Mumbai and DCPCR. Moreover, 180 participants participated in the conference inclusive of 34 paper presenters and 09 poster presenters.This year CECED included the Pre-Conference activities for the first time which included the field visit to the 2 Pre-schools of Delhi (Ahvaan Trust , Shiv Nadar School) by two group and Workshop on Action Methodology at the venue attended by the third group. The response was amazing and conference was appreciated by everyone participated
