The Centre for Early Childhood Education and Development (CECED) is developed under a social initiative of Ambedkar University Delhi and is envisaged as an institution that brings together research, policy and practice in the area of Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) within a coherent and holistic conceptual frame. CECED’s vision is to promote systemic understanding of developmentally and contextually appropriate and inclusive ECED with a focus on early learning. The Centre’s mission is to contribute to the national goals of social justice and equity by advocating and promoting every child’s right to a solid foundation for life through ECED. The Centre aims towards evidence-based quality promotion in ECED through research, capacity building and advocacy.
CECED requires young professionals to join the team under the project titled, “Development of Early Childhood Care and Education Centers in Delhi” supported by DHE, Govt. of NCT Delhi. The requirement is to conduct a situational analysis, which includes collection and entry of data.

TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR PROJECT POSITIONS IN CECED
Field Investigators (Code –FI)
Vacancy: Four (4)
Duration: One (1) month.
Qualification & Eligibility criteria:
• Graduation, preferably in Education/ Social Sciences.
• Willing to undertake extensive field travel and collect data related to the project.
• Some experience related to data collection and field survey.
• Good communication skills and fluency in Hindi language.
• Understanding of research work, field survey and methodology will be an advantage.
• Computer proficiency to do data entry work.
Consolidated Remuneration: The consolidated sum of Rs. 15000/- per month will be paid. Additionally, expense for conducting the field work will be provided separately @ Rs.250 per day inclusive of travel expenses.
Please note that all the above mentioned position requires frequent travelling within Delhi. The applicants who are willing for extensive travel should only apply.
The walk-in-interview will be held on 17 January, 2018 at Committee Room 308, Admin Block, Kashmere Gate Campus, Ambedkar University Delhi, no TA/DA will be given for attending the interview. Registrations for the interview will start from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on 17 January, 2018.
Please note that all the appointment would be purely on temporary/contractual basis for the specified period of time and based on projects demand. The appointment under this advertisement does not give you a right for any regular job in CECED or AUD.
